My Favorite Things: Stocking Stuffer Gift Ideas

Tuesday, November 25, 2014

Growing up, we got to open our Christmas stockings on Christmas Eve. As kids of course we couldn't wait to open our presents, so opening our stockings was a way for my parents to help keep us kids somewhat under control...ha! I can remember getting fun things such as lip balms, lifesaver books and even silly putty. As adults, we all still have Christmas stockings at my parent's house, and you can still find things such as lip balms and lifesaver books, but there are also more grown up things like Starbucks gift cards :)

I'm joining the My Favorite Things link-up again this week, and today I'm sharing some fun stocking stuffers for the ladies, the guys and the pooches.

Stocking Stuffers for the Ladies

1. Kate Spade Day Tripper Earrings - Who doesn't love a dangly earring, and loving the hot pink color!

2. Mary Kay Holiday Lip Balms - These festive lip balms come in a pack of 3, which is perfect because you can give them all together, split them up among friends, or keep one for yourself :)

3. Peppermint Stick Hand Cream - Perfect for dry hands this winter, and such a festive scent.

4. Kate Spade Glitter Studs - I LOVE these glitter studs, and they also come in gold.

5. Essie Winter 2015 Polishes - Loving these 2 polishes from the Winter collection - Jump in my Jumpsuit & Jingle High, Jingle Low

6. Champagne Toast Mini Candle - This mini candle fits perfectly in a stocking, and the scent is amazing. I think these would be perfect to have lit for a New Year's Party.

7. Ring Dish - I love having these in different rooms, especially the kitchen, so you can remove your rings and keep them safe while doing messy tasks. Anthropologie has a few cute ones, perfect to fit in a stocking.

8. EOS Lip Balm - Love this limited edition flavor - Holiday Wildberry

9. Monogram Stationery - This is a great gift for anyone, and especially helpful this time of year with all of the after Christmas thank you cards.

10. Gold Monogram Mug - These limited edition gold monogram mugs are back at Anthropologie. They are on back order online, but are available in stores nows.

Stocking Stuffers for the Guys

1. Latitude Longitude Cuff Links - Love these personlaized cuff links to remember a special day/place.

2. Home Brew Journal - Perfect for the beer lover to keep track of favorite brews.

3. Deer Fair Isle Socks - Keep your guys feet warm this winter, and stylish!

4. Salt & Pepper Robots - I can totally see a guy loving this. Takes playing with your food to a new level.

5. Name that Mustache Game - Such a unique game and would be perfect for your next get-to-gether

6. Whiskey Ice Balls - I got one of these for Rick for his birthday and he loves it. Great way to ice your whiskey, or any drink, and a fun conversation starter as well.

7. Bacon Balm - Who doesn't want a little bacon balm? Ha!

8. The Ultimate Cocktail Bar Tool - I thought this was a unique little twist on the swiss army knife.

9. Personalized Whiskey Stones - I got these for Rick last year for Christmas and it was a hit. These are great for chilling your wine as well :)

Stocking Stuffers for the Pups

1. Holiday Cookies - Can't leave the pups out on enjoying some Christmas cookies this year.

2. Tartanware Play Balls Box - Bren would love this tennis ball set.

3. Bowser Beer - We have a friend who showed us this over the weekend and said her pup loved it. It has a really weird sweet meaty smell, but I guess the dogs love it.

4. Heart Fair Isle Dog Sweater - Keep your pooch warm and stylish this year.

5. Tartan Tidings Bow Tie - Napoleon has this bow tie and looks very handsome in it.

6. Elf Sock Monkey - A little sock monkey fun for the pooches.

7. Houndstooth Flower Collar - Abby and Bren have a similar flower collar that they wore in our Christmas pictures this year and last year.

8. Dog Biscuit Tin - No dog will ever turn down a tin full of treats!

9. Bark Box Subscription - The perfect gift that keeps on giving. For the dog that has it all, get them a birch box subscription for next year. We haven't done this yet, but I've seen a lot of great reviews and would love to try it sometime.

What would you love in your stocking this year?

FYI -- next Tues (12/2) the theme is Friends and Family Gifts under $100.

  2. I love having stockings for the animals, too! We do one for our cats every year. I'm also glad I'm not the only one who still get stockings at the parents' house :)
